The Client

Geico’s Living Website is a unique and interactive digital platform that provides a personalized experience to its users. The Living Website’s primary feature is its customized homepage, which displays personalized content based on the user’s browsing history and interests. The homepage is designed to feel like a living room, with various objects and features that the user can interact with, such as a TV that plays Geico commercials or a virtual pet that responds to user input.

The Challenge

I was responsible for designing web banners to drive traffic to the GEICO Living Website. The primary challenge was creating ads that would capture the attention of the target audience on a crowded webpage and drive clicks to the corresponding articles.

To address this challenge, I began by researching to gain a deep understanding of the target audience and their behaviors. Through this process, I identified key insights that informed my design strategies, such as the importance of clear and concise messaging and creating visual interest to stand out on the page.

The Solution

Throughout the design process, I focused on creating visuals that were consistent with the GEICO brand while also standing out on the page. I experimented with color schemes, typography, imagery, and shapes to find the most effective combinations.

The result was a set of eye-catching web banners that effectively promoted the GEICO Living Website and drove traffic to the corresponding articles. Through this project, I developed a deeper understanding of an effective design strategy for creating effective digital advertising campaigns.
